Yes. Take a receipt photo or choose an image when adding a transaction. Penn reads the available amount, date, and store details on your device. Review the suggestions, choose an account and category, then save. On supported devices, you can also share a receipt image straight to installed Penn.
Yes. Choose a currency when you add an account, such as pesos, riyals, dirhams, dollars, or euros. Penn keeps each currency’s total separate and doesn’t convert them automatically. After you’ve opened your workspace online, you can view saved records and add income, expenses, and transfers offline. New transactions wait on your device and sync when you reconnect. Receipts, contacts, payments, groups, Lent & borrowed, and shared goals need an internet connection.
Connect with a contact by Penn username, contact link, or QR code. Request or record a payment, create a group to split shared expenses and settle up, or save toward a shared goal. Both sides can review the records, and your balances and account details stay private. Penn tracks who owes what; you pay each other outside the app.
Yes. In Lent & borrowed, record who it was with, the amount, and an optional due date, then log repayments as they happen. These records are private, and the other person doesn’t need Penn. For money you lent, you can turn on one email reminder that Penn sends near the due date. It includes your name and reply email, not the amount or your notes.
Turn on App Lock in Settings and add a passkey to unlock with Face ID, your fingerprint, or your device’s screen lock. Penn locks after 1 minute away or 5 minutes without activity. Passkeys work in supported browsers and the installed app.
